Cottonwood Colts Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Jordan and captured a 16-5 victory on Tuesday at Jordan.

With 10 runs in the first three innings, Cottonwood Colts Varsity left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An RBI double by Jacoby Cosby, a groundout by Hayden Cooper, an error, and a two-run home run by Ben Atkinson in the second inning supplied the early offense for Cottonwood Colts Varsity.

Cosby put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for Cottonwood Colts Varsity.

Even though Wil Jensen allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Alex Baeza took the loss for Jordan . He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out four.

The bottom of the first saw Jordan take an early lead, 4-0. Jordan pushed more runs across when Hathanam scored on an RBI single by Jacob Shaver and Hughes scored on an error.

Cottonwood Colts Varsity tacked on another four runs in the fifth. A sacrifice fly scored Jeff Borquez to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Chris Rowan’s triple, scoring Oliver Dunn.
